Occupied Kashmir: Famine-like situation as curfew continues for 79th straight day

SRINANAGR: Despite the straight 79th day of curfew which has created famine-like situation the situation remains tense in Occupied Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service 95,000 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred by occupational Indian forces during last 27 years, that is martyring an average of over 3,500 Kashmiris each year.

The occupational army has also razed over 100,000 houses on the pretext of terrorism and lawlessness. Over 10,000 Kashmiri women have been gang raped by the occupational Indian army troops and security forces personnel during the last 27 years.

The perpetual curfew has failed to lessen Kashmiris resolve to get their right of self-determination and there is complete shutter-down strike against Indian brutalities in the Occupied Valley.

There is an acute shortage of food and medicines and Kashmiris are being forced to stay inside homes as the strike continues on the appeal of the Hurriet leaders. Kashmiris continue staging anti-India protests in various districts of Occupied Kashmir including Srinagar. Waving Pakistani flags the brave Kashmiris are braving brute excesses of firing, shelling and use of pellet guns by the occupational army.
