ISLAMABAD: The opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) will be held today (Monday) in the absence of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif.
The opposition leaders will hold discussions on the current scenario in India-held Kashmir in wake of severe restrictions and curfew in the occupied region after India revoked its special status.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also not attend the meeting since he will address a gathering in Skardu today.
Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz spokeswoman Maryam Aurangzaib said that her party president Shahbaz Sharif will not attend the opposition’s APC as he was directed by his doctors to take complete bed rest due to his back injury.
She informed that a delegation consisting up of senior leaders will attend the APC while leaders included Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, and Ayaz Saddiq.
