KARACHI: MQM members protested against water shortage in Hyderabad during today’s Sindh Assembly session, while government members started to level allegations on opposition members.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani chaired today’s session, during which Opposition chanted slogans against government over water crisis in Hyderabad and other cities, due to which CM Sindh stopped his speech, while despite speaker directed, opposition continued its protest. Meanwhile CM Sindh said that opposition is acting, adding that government is making Sukkur city, on which Deewan Chand Chawla said that people don’t have water in Sukkur.
Meanwhile, PPP members also criticized opposition over interfering during CM speech, while Education Minister Nisar Khuro and Opposition leader Khawaja Izhar had exchanged hard words during the session.
