LAHORE: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan taking a jibe at Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) said that change of stance from opposition shows the uncertainty in the ranks of PML-N.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore, Firdous said that opposition’s only aim is to take temporary relief by putting pressure on national institutions.
Commenting over the audio and video controversy against NAB chairman Firdous blamed PML-N for leaking the audio tape of anti-graft watchdog chairman.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said the opposition has been deliberately trying to involve Prime Minister in the case of Chairman NAB.
“Government stands with all national institutions including NAB, the opposition has been using negative tricks in order to raise its stature,” she added.
She said those elements will be taken to their logical conclusion who are trying to harm the interest of Pakistan.
“The corrupt elements will be in the grip of law and NAB,” she continued.
