Opposition Will Not Get NRO: PM Imran

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan categorically has said that the opposition would not get any NRO whether it holds the APC or runs the movement against the government.

The meeting of PTI’s parliamentary party was held at the parliament house in Islamabad in the chair of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

As many as 129 MNA’s, senators, special assistants of Prime Minister, the allies of PTI, are attending the meeting.

The meeting deliberated upon the overall political situation and the strategy for getting passed the federal budget 2019-20 from the National Assembly.

According to sources the consultation to change Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani was also part of the today’s agenda.

Addressing the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the better than this budget could not be presented in the given circumstances and declared the budget in the favor of poor as the major amount has been allocated for the subsidiary for the poor.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that “I am again and again informing you about the budget so that you people inform the masses about the budget adding that the government has tried the poor could not be harmed in the budget and the budget is good for the businessmen.”

The Premier once again clarified the opposition they would not get any NRO if they wanted to protest then full fill their desire and it is not at all matter for the government.

The PM said that we have to respond to people through our performance while he also clarified the meeting the opposition did not approach the government directly for the NRO and everyone knows that he will not compromise on the corruption cases.

He also directed his party and allied members to initiate an awareness campaign in the masses for tax collection and inform the masses about the economic crisis of the country.

The PM said that approval of the budget is a legal requirement and the PTI and allied MNA’s ensured their participation in the NA session.
