Lahore: The Orange Line Train (OLT) will be inaugurated on October 25 while its service will start from the masses from the next day on October 26.
Talking to media, provincial minister for transport Punjab Jehanzaib Khan Khachi said that OLT will be inaugurated on October 25 and its services for the people of Lahore will start on October 26.
The Minister Informed that one way side fare of Rs 40 has been fixed for the train while the decision for changing the fares will be taken after six months.
Jehanzaib Khan said that a whopping subsidiary of Rs 5 billion for rent and maintenance cost of the project and Rs 2 billions subsidiary for electricity bills annually will be given on the project.
He said that to reduce the expenditure on electricity bills a solar system project also under consideration for the project.
