RAWALPINDI: Pak-Afghan border crossing at Torkham has been sealed due to security cancers for an indefinite period after the suicide blast at the Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sindh on Thursday.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan-Afghanistan border closed with immediate effects till further orders duty security reasons.
Sources said that the Torkham border has been sealed for all kinds of communication for an indefinite period. ISPR said in a press release that recent terrorist acts are being executed on directions from hostile powers and from sanctuaries in Afghanistan. We shall defend and respond.
While Chief of Army Staff said, “Each drop of nation’s blood shall be revenged, and revenged immediately. No more restraint for anyone.”
