Army Ready To Provide Assistance In Farishta Murder Case: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations DG (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday said that Pakistan Army is ready to provide any support in the Farishta murder case.

DG ISPR took to twitter saying, “Brutal murder of innocent Farishta is highly condemnable. Those responsible must be brought to justice. Pak army is ready to provide any support in this regard.”

He said we must rise and join to protect our future generations from vile and despicable elements who prey on vulnerable children.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan taking the notice of the rape and killing of a 10-year girl, Farishta, summoned report from IG and DIG police of the capital.

According to details, PM Imran Khan strongly condemned the inhumane incident and summoned a detail report from IG and DIG Islamabad

Sources further said that on the direction of PM Imran the DSP of the area has been suspended while the SP demoted to OSD.

The girl was raped before being murdered in an incident that sparked protest in Islamabad and triggered outrage on the social media.
