BEIJING: Spokesman of Chinese Foreign Ministry Geng Shuang has affirmed that nature of scenarios prevailing across the International community will not impact the friendly ties between China and Pakistan.
Addressing a media briefing in Beijing on Tuesday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated the country’s positive outlook on its brotherly ties with Pakistan.
“Pak-China friendship is higher than the Himalayas and stronger than steel. Pakistan is China’s strategic partner and Islamabad is among China’s diplomatic priorities”, he said.
Lauding Pakistan’s efforts to diminish terrorism in the region, he maintained that Beijing will continue to support Islamabad.
“International community should justly see Pakistan’s endeavours and contributions in counter-terrorism and step up dialogue and cooperation with the country,” Geng Shuang said.
