ISLAMABAD: United State special representative for Afghanistan reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad accompanied by Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alice Wells have arrived at Ministry Of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad where talks between delegations of both countries are underway.
Upon the arrival of both US diplomats, high officials of the ministry gave a warm welcome to the guests.

It is to be noted that Zalmay Khalilzad had paid a visit to Pakistan earlier in the month where he apprised the country on progress upon talks between the United States and the Afghan Taliban.
For Afghan reconciliation process, Zalmay Khalilzad has visited many countries including likes of Afghanistan, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Pakistan and many other countries.
