Dubai(October 12, 2018): Pakistan A cricket team beat New Zealand A by eight wickets with 43 balls remaining in the second T20 match at ICC Academy in Dubai on Friday.
Earlier, batting first New Zealand A managed to score 65 runs in 12.2 overs.
Pakistan A achieved the target in 12.5 overs for the loss of two wickets. Umaid Asif finished with the figures of 5/20 in four overs. Waqas Maqsood and Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up two wickets each. Pakistan chased the target of 66 runs in 12.5 overs, with eight wickets in hand.
Iftikhar Ahmed scored 26 runs while captain Umar Amin made 20 runs for the team. Hussain Talat scored 16 runs.
Pakistan A lead the three-match Twenty20 series by 1-0. The second game will be played in Dubai on October 15. The third and final T20 will be played on October 17 in Dubai.
