Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security, Dr. Moeed Yusuf has said the screening of passengers traveling abroad has been made mandatory.
Briefing media at National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) in Islamabad on Thursday, he said the passengers should act responsibly and should not embark upon the foreign travel if they have symptoms of COVID-19.
He rejected the impression that Pakistan is exporting the coronavirus to other countries. He said we are keeping a close eye on the incoming and outbound passengers. He said Pakistan has acted in the most responsible manner to check the spread of the virus.
Moeed Yusuf said the PIA flights for the gulf region will continue. He said we have brought back Pakistanis from seventy countries.
