BHURBAN: Former Afghanistan premier Gulbadin Hikmatyar has said that Afghanistan and Pakistan can end the war in his country after joining hands together.
Addressing an inaugural session of Pak-Afghanistan peace conference in Bhurban, Murree ex-Afghanistan premier thanked Pakistani premier Imran Khan for uniting all factions of Afghanistan in Pakistan.
Chief Hizb-e-Islami Hekmatyar said that Afghanistan has been in flames of fire of war for forty years while how much harm war did to Afghanistan more than that it caused to Pakistan.
Gulbadin Hekmatyar said that some powers did not want peace in Afghanistan and they wanted to achieve their purposes using Afghanistan.
Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed him at arrival in the conference and congratulated him on attending the conference.
Various matters will be discussed between Pakistan and Afghanistan including coordination, economy, business and health. Besides, the return of Afghan refugees to their country, who have been residing in Pakistan for forty years will also, be deliberated upon.
Dr, Arif Ali, President of Pakistan will host dinner in honor of participants of the Afghan peace conference while they will also call on Premier Imran Khan.
