Pakistan’s World Cup 2019 Squad Announced

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket Team world cup 2019 17-member squad has been announced while Sarfaraz Ahmed will lead the team in the upcoming world cup.

Chief selector of Pakistan Cricket team Inzamam Ul Haque announced the team in a presser at Pakistan Cricket Board headquarters.

According to the announcement the players included in the team are opener Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ul Haque, Muhammad Hafeez, spinner, Shadab Khan, Amad Waseem, batsmen Baber Azam, Shoaib Malik, Harris Sohail.

Other players who are named in the squad included fast bowlers Fahim Ashraf, Muhammad Amir, Hassan Ali, Shaheen Shah, Usman Shinwari, Junaid Khan,

Two additional players Muhammad Hasnian and Abid Ali, have also been announced for the world cup and could be included in the team as the need arises.

Muhammad Amir has been dropped from the team world cup squad while he will remain part of the team in series against England.

It is pertinent to mention here that Word Cup 2019 is going to start on May 30 in England.
