ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday strictly condemned the Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC) and said that Pakistan army and people were ready to defend the homeland.
Mamnoon Hussain said that India should not put regional peace at risk by boosting war-mongering. He said in the statement that India wanted to divert world’s attention from atrocities in occupied Kashmir by these types of tactics.
The president said that Pakistan strongly raised the Kashmir issue on diplomatic front and exposed the real face of India. He continued that India bothered over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech in the United Nations and successful diplomacy.
Mamnoon said that India will not be succeeded to divert world’s attention from atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and wanted peace in the region but will give befitting response to any aggression against it.
The president urged international community to take notice of Indian unprovoked firing across LoC and play its role for regional peace.
