MANCHESTER: Pakistan beaten England by 9 Wickets in the lone T20 match of the tour at Old Trafford.
England won the toss and set Pakistan 136-run target in the T20 match. Pakistan easily chased the target in 14.4 overs on 01 wicket.
Pakistan’s opener Sharjeel Khan scored 59 runs on 36 balls. Khalid Latif scored 59 runs and remained not out. Babar Azam made 11 runs in the match and also remained not out.
On the other hand, England’s captain Eoin Morgan scored 14 runs, Stokes 04 and Root 06. Roy made 21 runs and Hales 37 runs in the match. Pakistan’s Wahab Riaz took three wickets in the match. While Imad Wasim and Hasan Ali took two wickets each.
Pakistan outclassed England in all departments of the game, ending the tour on a high note. This was Pakistan’s first win against England after losing five consecutive matches.
