NEW DELHI: Pakistan has convened a meeting on the Indus Waters Treaty on Thursday 9 (August 22) to which all the officials concerned have been summoned.
While briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Kashmir, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said: “There are reports of 2,000 to 4,000 Kashmiris being picked up Indian occupying forces.”
“We are fearful that the situation is heading towards Pulwama 2,” he said.
“Conditions are extremely critical in the outskirts of Line of Control (LoC) as Indian troops continued ceasefire violations along LoC,” Dr. Faisal added.
