LAHORE: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in the second T20I by nine wickets and got the decisive lead of 2-0 in three matches series on Saturday at Qadafi Stadium Lahore.
The hosts comfortably chased the 137-run target set by the visiting team, who had won the toss and elected to bat first.
Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam with their partnership led the side to victory with a knock of 67 and 66 respectively.
Babar Azam Declared Man of the match. The third and final match will be played on Monday.
Pakistan lost the lone wicket of Ahsan Ali without any scoring taken by Shafiul Islam.
Earlier, Despite Tamim Iqbal fights back 65 on 53 balls with seven fours and a six Bangladesh middle-order seemed shaky and wickets fell apices while the scoring rate could not get momentum.
Muhammad Hussnain led the Pakistani attack by grabbing two while Shaheen Afridi who strike start of the innings, Haris Raud and Shadab Khan took a single wicket each.
