Lahore: Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan, Information Minister Punjab has said that Pakistan has completed the legislation to come out of the FATA grey list.
The Minister said that the completion of the legislation before the FATF deadline is a reflection of the government efforts and good intentions, on which Prime Minister Imran Khan and his entire team have deserved congratulation.
Fayyaz Ul Hassan Chohan said that the parliament from February to September passed 10 amendments act through 13 bills adding that International Financial Institutions and business community trust on Pakistan will increase through these measures.
He added that through these legislations along with internal and international investment, transaction of money cooperation with international community will increase.
The Minister said that Pakistan was thrown to the grey list by conducting money laundering in the previous regimes.
