Pakistan Condemns Atrocities In Indian Held Kashmir

Islamabad(July 12, 2018): Spokesman of the Foreign Office, Dr Faisal on Thursday has said that Kashmir is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and it will continue political, diplomatic and moral support of Kashmiris, 8 Kashmiris including a 13 years old girl were martyred during last week in IoK.

Addressing a weekly briefing in Islamabad, FO Spokesman said the wave of Indian atrocities continues unabated in the occupied valley.

Foreign Office Spokesperson said Indian forces killed eight Kashmiris last week alone and also injured one hundred and seventy innocent civilians.

He said Pakistan calls upon the international community to take cognizance of human rights abuses in Indian Occupied Kashmir as well as the UN Report and immediately call upon India to stop the bloodshed.Replying to a question, Dr. Muhammad Faisal said Pakistan believes there is no military solution to Afghan conflict, and durable peace in the war-torn country can be achieved through an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned solution only.

He said bringing Taliban to negotiation table is a shared responsibility of all the countries, including the US.

Earlier on July 10,  Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism in Indian occupied Kashmir martyred two Kashmiri youth and injured over twenty.According to Kashmir media service, the troops killed the youth during a violent cordon and search operation in the area. While over twenty people have been injured in the use of brute force on protesters by Indian forces in the area.

Indian police and troops fired bullets, pellets and tear gas to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel.
