In second match of Pakistan Cricket Cup, Islamabad team has defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) team at Iqbal stadium in Faisalabad, Islamabad’s captain Misbah-ul Haq was declared as “Man of the Match”.
KPK team batted first in the second match of the tournament, scored 212 in 46.3 overs while KPK’s captain Younis Khan, Kakhar Zaman and Omer Akmal were prominent with 61, 45 and 31 runs respectively.
On the other hand, Islamabad’s team could not present good start while chasing the target, three players returned to pavilion at Islamabad’s nine score.However, Misbah-ul Haq and Iftikhar Ahmed improved the performance of the team, while he was declared as “Man of the Match”
Meanwhile Iftikhar Ahmed and Hammad played important role in the victory of team with 48 and 17 runs.
