Pakistan Cup: Sindh defeats Baluchistan by 42 runs

Sindh team defeated Baluchistan in Pakistan Cup one day tournament by Duck-worth–Lewis method and the victorious team player Khurram Manzoor declared best player of the match.

The third match of ongoing Pakistan Cup one day in Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, the Sindh team won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 266 over loss of four wickets. Rains disrupted the match and eventually management stopped the match.

The Sindh team player Khurram Manzoor scored 100 runs playing 70 balls and Sami Aslam made 108 runs and captain Sarfaraz Ahmed remained not out scoring 21 runs. While, Baluchistan player Saeed Ajmal bowled out two players.

When the match resumed after the rains the Baluchistan team was given target of 231 in 31 over by Duck-worth–Lewis method. The Baluchistan team  no any single player could face the Sindh team bowlers confidently except captain Azhar Ali. Azhar Ali scored century and remained not out but his team lost the match by 42 runs in given over.

The Sindh team bowlers Muhammad Amir and Anwar took two wickets each.
