ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Wednesday said that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state and believe in a peaceful resolution of its conflicts.
Talking to a conference titled “Nuclear Arms Control: Challenges and Prospects” organized by Strategic Studies Institute she presented seven recommendations pertaining to control the spread of nuclear arms.
She said that Pakistan signed those treaties to control the spread of nuclear arms which were good for the interests of the country and humanity on the planet as well.
The minister said that CTBT is a dead treaty and Pakistan will not sign it unless the world will admit us as a nuclear state.
