Islamabad (March 29, 2018): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said Pakistan has fought a successful war against terrorism and rid the country of this menace.
He was addressing the Meet the Malala gathering at PM House and said to Malala that Pakistan is her home and you are welcome to come anytime you please.

He said that Malala is not a common person now and represents the country.He said that when she was shot in the head the situation was very different but after sacrifices of over 6000 soldiers, 25000 policemen and other paramilitary forces, peace has been brought in the country.
He said when Malala moved out of the country, terrorism was at its peak. However, with the strong resolve of the nation and security forces, this scourge has been crushed.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said two hundred thousand troops are still actively engaged in this war. 
The Prime Minister said the whole world has given respect to Malala and Pakistan will also provide her complete security and respect.
He asked Malala Yousafzai to spread the message of peace as a messenger of Pakistan in the whole world.
