Kabul (February 13, 2018): The Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa has categorically denied presence of terrorists in Pakistan and said that Pakistan has rooted out all safe heavens of the terrorists from their soil.
Addressing to the Chiefs of Defence Conference in Kabul today, Gen Bajwa said, “Regions develop as a whole, not individual countries.”

He added that collaborative approach and patience will answer all the challenges. “Collaborative approach and persistence is the answer to all challenges. Pakistan is ready to play its part,” he vowed.
According to ISPR, Army Chief told that there are no terrorist sanctuaries left on the Pakistani soil. He signaled that residual signatures of terrorists take advantage of the 2.7 million Afghan refugees and absence of effective border security coordination to launch attacks.
Gen Bajwa said they are targeting these terror elements by ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, adding that Pakistani territory is not allowed to be used against any other country and “Pakistan expects the same reciprocity”.COAS along with the Commander of United States (US) Central Command (CENTCOM), Commander of Resolute Support Mission (RSM), Army Chiefs of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan attended the conference. The conference was held to continue the cooperation in peace process.
The conference concluded to continue cooperation for peace and stability in the region.
