The US foreign office spokesman John Kirby has said that Pakistan has vital role in Afghan reconciliation process.
Giving a briefing in Washington on Wednesday, he said that the US wanted to see the Afghan reconciliation process a success and fully supports direct talks between Afghan government and Taliban.
The US foreign office spokesman said that Pakistan has clarified that it will not differentiate among terrorists group while taking action against them.
John Kirby also expressed America’s expectation that Pakistan will fulfil promise to take action against terrorist group without any differentiation.
Expressing Pakistan’s sufferings, the US spokesman said Pakistan army and its masses have been seriously affected by terrorism for very long time and the US is in close relation with Pakistan to tackle the menace of terrorism.
John Kirby said that the terrorism is not only challenge to Pakistan and Afghanistan but for whole of the region.
