ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria has said that Pakistan has not closed its seaports and border for Afghan goods which are also being exported to India.
Reacting to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s statement spokesman FO further said that Pakistan has not imposed any restriction of exports of Afghan goods to India via Wahga border and it is being shipped continuously to India. Honoring our promise Pakistan is providing transit facilities to the Afghan people.
The Afghan border remained closed last month after an unpleasant incident and it was opened after taking measures to avaoid recurring of such incidents in future.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani had threatened imposing restriction on Pakistani cargo vehicles going to Central Asian Republics through Afghanistan after imposing of restriction on movement of Afghan goods through Wahga border.
