ISLAMABAD: Pakistan High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at Ministry of Foreign Affairs here on Tuesday.
Discussions were held over current regional scenario and accusations leveled on Pakistan from India after Pulwama attack.
FM Qureshi said that unrest and chaos would not serve any one’s interest while Islamabad always wanted longstanding peace across the region. He added that the government was seriously reviewing the situation while a letter was also sent to United Nations (UN) Secretary General António Guterres to take notice of irresponsible attitude and negative tactics of Indian government escalating regional tensions.
Earlier on Monday, Foreign Office confirmed summoning High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood to Islamabad for consultations post Pulwama attack situation.
