Pakistan has joined global efforts against climate change, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar have signed Paris agreement.
During the ceremony of International Paris agreement against climate change in New York, where Chaudhry Nisar represented Pakistan, said that Paris agreement is a millstone while UN should ensure full and sincere implementation.He added that Pakistan’s role is less in world’s rising temperature.
He further added that Pakistan’s temperature has been increased in comparison with past, series of floods have been also increased, causing widely loss.However, he told that economic progress is at Pakistan’s first priority.
However, change in climate could be deal through comprehensive strategy, Pakistan is pursuing long-term vision of sustainable development of 2025.
