Pakistan defeated China Taipei in its inaugural match of under 18 Asia cup in Dhaka as Pakistan to face China in next match on Sunday.
Pakistan finished first half with 2-1 lead, however in second half green shirts played aggressive hockey and scored four goals and end the game with 6-1. Adeel Latif two, Amajd Khan, Ahmed Nadeem, Shahziab and waqar each scored a goal from Pakistani side.
Earlier, Pakistan before the tournament had played hockey series against Oman and won by 3-1.
