ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has ensured the international community complete cooperation in implementation on all the international standards regarding ending money laundering and financial assistance to terrorists while presenting its case effectively during the talks with Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The Finance Ministry has issued a press release after two-day talks with the FATF (Asia Pacific Group, APG) while Pakistan’s 15-member delegation led by Federal Minister for economic affairs Hammad Azhar held the talks.
The talks considered Pakistan’s implementation on a settled action plan with the FATF while Pakistan delegation effectively briefed the progress on every condition.

The 15-member delegation also provided additional information and clarification.
As per the press release, Pakistan ensured the international fraternity complete cooperation in stopping money laundering and financial assistance to terrorists and implementation on international standards in this regard.
Federal Minister Hammad Azhar said that the government of Pakistan is effectively activated against the money laundering while Pakistan will continue to cooperate with the international world against the money laundering while the government is taking coordinated measures against the financial crimes.
The Minister informed that the FATF will review a report regarding Pakistan in October this year while this meeting will be held in Paris, France from 13 to 18 October.
