Pakistan Retain Sixth Position in ICC ODI Rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan retained sixth position ICC ODI rankings even after defeated by England 4-0. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman managed to make their place in Top 10 batsman while there is no Pakistani bowler in Top 25.

Pakistan, followed by Bangladesh, have somehow managed to keep their position despite clean sweep by Australia and a 4-0 loss against England.

Pakistan are only four points ahead of Bangladesh.

Babar Azam has retained his seventh position while openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq moved up to ninth and 14th position respectively.

Pakistan’s skipper Sarfraz Ahmed also jumped from 56th to 47th position after his brilliant knock of 97 runs in last ODI against England.

There is no Pakistani bowler in Top 25 of ICC ODI rankings. Hasan Ali, Sahadab Khan and Muhammad Amir are standing at 27th, 28th and 40th position respectively while youngster Shaheen Shah Afridi and veteran Muhammad Hafeez are at 57th and 64th position.
