DUBAI: Despite clean sweep by the hands of inexperience Sri Lanka, Pakistan retained their top spot in the International Cricket Council T20 International team rankings.
ICC issued the fresh T20I rankings following the conclusion of Pak-Sri Lanka bilateral series.
Pakistan on top with the 274 points, England at second with 268 points while South Africa and Indi on third and fourth respectively. Australia are fifth while New Zealand are sixth. Sri Lanka on seventh after getting clean sweep victory against Pakistan pushed Afghanistan to Eight.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Babar Azam leads the batsmen’s rankings while Fakhar Zaman dropped to 14th position..
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan top the bowler’s rankings followed by Emad Waseem. Shadab Khan dropped to fourth while dropped three ranks and reached at 17th and Muhammad Amir jumped two ranks and reached on 33rd.
