DUBAI: Pakistan retained the top spot in the recent International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 cricket rankings whereas Babar Azam of Pakistan has yet again topped the ICC T20 Rankings for batsmen.
ICC released the new rankings after the end of Sri Lanka and New Zealand, according to which, Pakistan have maintained their top spot.
South Africa have overtaken India (fourth) and Australia (fifth) to reach third place while New Zealand, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Bangladesh are the other five teams in the top 10 respectively.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam, Australia’s Glenn Maxwell, New Zealand’s Colin Munro have retained the first, second and third spot respectively while Fakhar Zaman placed at eight position.
Rashid Khan has once again obtained the top spot in the bowlers’ rankings. Whereas, Pakistan’s Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf are standing at second, third and ninth position respectively.
