Federal commerce minister Khurram Dastgir said that Pakistan is searching out new markets to export services besides reviewing conditions of recommended international agreements for enhancement of services’ trade.
Khurram Dastgir said that all services sectors of the country would be taken into confidence over the international agreement. He said that services sector is developing fast and there is more expectations to increase its exports. He added that Pakistan has recently established Services Trade Development Council to increase its exports.
He said that 54.6 per cent were allocated for services in Pakistan’s GDP and there is much capacity to increase services’ exports. He said that US allocates 63.6 per cent for GDP while 71.4 per cent in Japan.
