KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange was Bullish on Friday.
The KSE-100 Index closed on Friday at 32458.77 points as compared to 32309.54 points on the last working day with a positive change of 149.23 points.
The total turnover was 121,556,220 as compared to 87,413,250 on the last working day with Maple Leaf having the highest turnover of 14,413,500.
Total 316 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 155 recorded gains and 129 sustained losses whereas the share price of 32 companies remained unchanged.
Hinopak Motor recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 13.50 rupees while Nestle Pakistan recorded a maximum decrease of 340.00 rupees.
A trivial 13 paisa increased occurred in dollar price against the rupee on Friday in the interbank market after which dollar price turned Rs 160. 58 from Rs 160. 45 while dollar prices in the open market remained stable.
Gold prices on Friday remained the same as of yesterday prices of one tola stood at the rate Rs 84,400 while 10 gms gold prices also retained at Rs 72,360.
On the other hand Gold prices in international market decreased by eight dollar and stood at 1419 dollar per ounce.
