Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israeli Atrocities In Palestine: FO

Islamabad(May  17, 2018): Spokesman of the Foreign Office, Dr Faisal has said that Pakistan condemns US act of transferring its consulate to Juralseum and termed it against international laws.

While talking in a weekly briefing at the FO, Dr Faisal said that Pakistan Strongly condemns Israel atrocities in Palestine and martyrdom of the innocent protestors, who are protesting for their right of self-determination

He said Pakistan believes in a two-state solution of the Palestine dispute and in accordance with the UN resolutions.

The Spokesperson said the entire Muslim world is united over this issue.

Dr Faisal said Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will leave Turkey tomorrow to attend OIC meeting regarding Gaza’s situation.

Talking about the US Military Attache, Dr Faisal said that the United States government has assured probe would be initiated against Defence and Air Attaché Colonel Emanuel Joseph.FO Spokesman said that India plays Pakistan card to influence its internal politics.

He said India is also trying to divert the attention of the international community from the Occupied Kashmir.

Regarding fourth round of Pakistan-Afghanistan discussions in Islamabad, the spokesperson said both the countries have finalized Afghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPS).He said the plan provides a framework to strengthen mutual trust, deepen interaction in all spheres of bilateral engagements and also provides a mechanism to final solutions for areas of mutual concerns. He said APAPS will continue towards the common objective of eliminating terrorism and help to achieve peace stability, prosperity and development of the two countries.

To a question, he said Pakistan as a neighbour will continue its engagements with Iran and is against unilateral sanctions against Tehran.
