Islamabad (October 5, 2017): Pakistan strongly condemn the allegations of US officials that its intelligence agency ISI supports terrorists in Afghanistan.
Addressing the weekly briefing here Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said that Pakistan has given immense sacrifices fighting war against terror and its armed forces are taking action against all the outfits without any distinction. Strongly rejecting the statement of American Secretary Defense that ISI have relations terror groups the spokesman said that Pakistan has taken indiscriminate action against the terrorists and has destroyed all of their hideouts from the country.

The safe havens of terrorists are not in Pakistan they are located in Afghanistan while the growing influence of militant Daesh outfit in Afghanistan in Afghanistan is not only a threat to Pakistan but also for the regional peace.
India is using Afghan territory against Pakistan and helps and supports all the banned militant outfits including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and it wants to sabotage the rapidly growing economy and china Pakistan Economoc Corridor (CPEC) project and many Indian leaders have openly admitted their anti-Pakistan role, FO spokesman added. Even Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted this during his Bangladesh visit. India has fed and nourished the terror groups I Afghanistan in the nem of development, he added.
Replying to a question, Nafees Zakaria said that India itself is committing incessant ceasefire violations along the Line of Control as well along the Working Boundary but blames Pakistan for initiating the firing and shelling which is contrary to the fact.
Pakistan demands the United Nations to force India to allow UN Fact Finding Missions in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Line of Control just as Pakistan has allowed.
The fact finding mission of the OIC visited Azad Kashmir which is located in Pakistan in March and it issued a voluminous report about the grave human rights violations in Indian-Occupied Kashmir. Indian is targeting the the civilians along the Line of Control to divert the attention of the international community from the grave human rights violations it is routinely committing in Occupied Kashmir.
Nafees Zakaria said that Pakistan strongly condemns violence perpetrated on women in Occupied Kashmir while using clipping the women’s hair as tool to harass them are also highly condemnable. India claims to be the largest democracy of the world but barbaric acts such as these expose its real face.
The FO spokesman called the meeting of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif with his American counterpart Rex Tillerson during his maiden visit of the US positive and successful. Situation in Afghanistan and Kashmir was discussed in detail during the meeting and America called Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan vital. Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif will also meet National Security Advisor today, he added.
