Pakistan Thrash Sri Lanka by Seven Wickets in 4th ODI

Sharjah (October 20, 2017): Pakistan inches closer to clean sweep Sri Lanka in One Day International series after winning fourth ODI by seven wickets at Sharhjah Cricket Stadium with lead of 4-0 in five-match series.

After losing three wickets only at 58, two apiece centurion maker Babar Azam and senior partner Shoaib Malik took the team to triumph without further loss.

Babar Azam continued his runs streak and posted 69 runs that was envisaged with five four as Shoaib Malik also hit 69 with the help of two fours and three mighty sixes.

Both added 119 runs in unbeaten fourth wicket partnership.

Earlier, Pakistan’s fast and spin attack have put Sri Lankan batting in trouble at the start of their innings and they could not come back as all out at 173 runs at Sharjah Cricket Stadium in fourth ODI on Friday.

Pakistan has already been taken the decisive lead of 3-0 in five-match series.

Shadab once again trapped Lankan middle order and grabbed two apiece wickets at the crucial stage of their innings that further worsen situation.

Hassan Ali showed his worth and lashed opponents with his accurate line and length that provided him two wickets.

The Thirimanne was the only Sri Lankan batsman who fought and posted 62 runs while Dickwella 22 and at the last of the innings Lakmal’s 23 helped team to cross 170 mark.
