DUBAI: The fifth and final One-day International of the five-match series between Pakistan and Australia will be played today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Australia will be looking for a clean sweep as they already won the series by 4-0. On the other hand, Pakistan will be desperately looking for a win in today’s match to avoid the whitewash.
It is likely that Shoaib Malik will not lead the team as well; sources said that he is still facing pain in his rib while team physiotherapist is examining his injury.
Imad Wasim will lead the team again in the absence of Malik.
The visitors have an unassailable 4-0 lead in the series.
Earlier on Friday, Australia defeated Pakistan by six runs in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) match.
