Pakistan to face West Indies in 3rd ODI today

GUYANA: The third and final One Day International (ODI) between Pakistan and the West Indies will be played at Providence Stadium in Guyana today.

The match is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm (Pakistan Time). Earlier, first ODI of the three-match series had been won by West Indies but Pakistan bounced back in the second ODI and beaten West Indies by 74 runs on Sunday. The three match series now stands level at 1-1. Today’s match will decide the series.

Today’s match is very crucial for both teams as the contest will decide not only the series but the winner will remain in the eighth and final automatic qualification places for the 2019 World Cup.

All bets are off with the Providence Stadium’s new pitch, which yielded two starkly different contests in just three days. However, there are showers expected for parts of the afternoon, and a curtailed contest is possible.
