ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Dr Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri has vowed on Monday that Pakistan will solve long-standing issues of the Kashmir and Palestine with the help of Saudi.
He was addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Monday titled Pak-Saudia Relations and Friendship organized by Tehrik-e-Difa-e- Harmain Sharifain.
The Minister said the Pakistani nation gives much importance to these relations and has a special religious devotion with Saudi Arabia due to holy places of Makkah Mukarramah and Madina Munawwarah. He said that these relations will be enhanced under the leadership of the newly elected government of Pakistan.
The Minister said Saudi Arabia has supported Pakistan at every critical time while Pakistan diaspora living in Saudi Arabia is also playing a commendable role in the development process of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He especially thanked the Saudi King for providing financial support to Pakistan for meeting the balance of payment issue.
The Minister said both countries are the same stance on several issues including Kashmir, Palestine and issues of the Middle East. He said that Pakistan will play its due role for inter-faith harmony, unity and solidarity among Muslim Ummah.
He said that Saudi crown prince is coming to Pakistan after the gap of a long period and Pakistan will warmly welcome him.
He expressed the hope that his visit will leave positive impacts in the region.
