Pakistan Will Continue To Expose Indian Atrocities in Occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz says Pakistan will not allow India to get away with annexation of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir through aparliamentary decree and the merciless use of military might against Kashmiris.

He was addressing a seminar titled “Humans without Human Rights” in connection with International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in Islamabad today.

The Minister said Pakistan is committed to resolving Kashmir dispute with India through dialogue in consonance with UN resolutions.

He reiterated that Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the cause of Kashmiris and persist with its efforts to expose Indian machinations to the world till an amicable solution to the dispute becomes possible.

He said in view of the permeating situation it is time that the United Nations and the international community wake up to the ground realities in this region, particularly the situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which is a potential nuclear flashpoint.

Senator Shibli Faraz said India must understand that any aggression against Pakistan will be given a matching response as was done on February 26 last year.

The Minister said Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a story of betrayals, blatant defiance of the UN resolutions and a license for torture and extra-judicial killings.

Senator Shibli Faraz said the situation in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has become extremely precarious after the repeal of Article 370, which ended special status of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
