Pakistan Will Have To Move To IMF, Claims Sheikh Rasheed

MULTAN: Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on Wednesday claimed that Pakistan will have to move to International Monetary Fund (IMF).

While commenting over expected deal between PTI and opposition parties, Rasheed claimed that he would make revelations before the nation soon. He said that he was a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan who apprised him regarding the ground situation.

He was talking to media persons during his visit to DS Railway Office in Multan. The railways minister said that he has witnessed many premiers but Imran Khan was the one who efficiently working to resolve national issues.

He claimed that his name was suggested by PM Khan for membership of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He said that he was not willing to join PAC for any fight with [PAC chairman] Shehbaz Sharif.

The minister claimed that Pakistan will have to move to International Monetary Fund (IMF) while it was only Imran Khan who brought financial aid up to millions of dollar from China and Dubai.

Rasheed reiterated that he would move to the Supreme Court (SC) to fight against looters. The minister said that he has witnessed such people who pledged to support Imran Khan even in worst scenario.

Answering a question, the Awami Muslim League (AML) chief claimed that Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari was his beloved one and he has made peace with the Pakistan People’s Party chairman after he tendered an apology to him.

While detailing future plan in Pakistan Railways, he announced to inaugurate Thal Express on February 12 while a non-stop Rawalpindi-Karachi train, Jinnah Express will be launched from March 23. He claimed that Pakistan Railways will be transformed into a symbolic railway within two years.
