Pakistani Consulate In Jeddah Celebrates Mango Festival

Web Desk (August 10, 2018): Pakistani consulate in Jeddah has arranged a mango festival; purpose of the mango festival was to highlight Pakistani mangoes and to increase the Its business abroad.

According to details, deputy chairman of Jeddah chamber of commerce Mazan Buttergy, Vice Chairman Jeddah chamber Zaid Basam, head of the food committee of chamber of commerce of Jeddah Naif Al Sharif, Director of ministry of commerce KSA Saleh Nasar Al Shamrani and Counsel General Sheharyar Akbar Khan inaugurated the mango festival.A cake cutting ceremony was also held in the opening of the Pakistani mango festival on account of Pakistan Independence Day celebrations, counsel generals from other countries also participated in the festival.

While talking in the Mango festival, counsel general of Pakistan in Jeddah Sheharyar Akbar Khan welcomed the guests and said with the 1.8 million ton production Pakistan is fifth largest mango producer of the world.  He added Pakistan is exporting mangoes to 57 countries of the world.
