Pakistani Team To Compete 11 Matches Before Start Of World Cup

LAHORE: Before world cup, Pakistan team will play 11 matches in England while the green team will face West Indies in its first match of World cup.

Pakistani team squad will leave for England in the leadership of Sarfaraz Ahmed on April 23 to play one-day series against England.

The team will play two practice matches against Kent and Northamptonshire on 27th against and 29th of April respectively.

The green-eleven will face Leicestershire in T-20 while it will play an only short-format match against England in Cardiff on May 5.

The one-day-series between Pakistan and England will commence on May 8 at Oval.

The Second and third match will be played on 11th, 14th of May at Southampton and Bristol respectively. While the fourth competition will take place on May 17 at Trent Bridge.

Leads will host final ODI of five-match-series.

Pakistan will face Afghanistan on May 24 at Bristol while it will compete with Bangladesh on May 26 at Cardiff before the World Cup.

The World Cup will kick off on May 30 while Pakistan will face West Indies in its first match of the tournament at Trent Bridge.

Players fitness test for the green team players will be held April 14 in Lahore.
