MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government has closed scholarship to Pakistani students in China who were sent by the previous government for learning Chinese and they are facing difficulties over the closure of the funds.
A group of 154 of whom belonging to South Punjab which has been sent in the year 2017, are facing difficulties as the Chinese government has stopped teaching the Chinese language as the government has not paid their scholarship amount of two months.
A Pakistani student of Beijing University, describing the situation, said that they contacted to Higher Education Commission (HEC) but not body heeding to them.
Pakistani students studying the Chinese language course has demanded to the Punjab government to restore their scholarship so that they could continue their studies.
