ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on Saturday has said that we want a peaceful solution of our conflicts but our desire for peace should not be considered a weakness.
During his address in Pakistan Day ceremony, he said, “India should refrain from seeing us the ideology as of 1947, we are a free nation now.”
“We want a peaceful solution to our conflicts but it should not be treated as our weakness,” he added.
“We believe in Peace and want a peaceful existence in the region,” he added.
“Pakistan is the only nation that fought with extremism since that much long time,” he further added.
“We believe that poverty and unemployment are the biggest enemies of our country in current times,” he said.
“Pakistan is an upcoming power in terms of economy and defence and India should realize it,” he insisted.
“Our defense is flawless but we want a peaceful existence in the region,” he concluded.
