The Pakistan legend in-swinger Wasim Akram has turned 50 and is being celebrated his 50th birthday as he had made several records in his 19 years long career.
Champion fast bowler Wasim Akram was born in June 3, 1966 in Lahore and represented Pakistan about 19 years. He has taken 414 wickets of his in 104 test matches whereas has made three centuries in batting.
In 356 ODIs he has taken 502 wickets beside this he became first bowler who took 500 wickets in ODI and this record was maintained for six years but in 2009, Srilankan Muttiah Muralitharan had broken the record. Wasim Akram also made two hat-tricks each in test and ODI matches.
Wasim has honoured Pakistan’s captaincy in 109 ODIs and had won 66 most ODIs after Imran Khan while having leadership in 25 test he had won 12 and were defeated 8 matches. Wasim Akram had played his final career international match in March 4, 2003.
