LAHORE: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq on Wednesday said that the country was infested by the menace of corruption and it was Supreme Court’s test as to how it solved the public issue.
Addressing a press conference at Mansoora, Lahore, Haq said that the country was suffering heavily due to corruption.
He said that he had talked to Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah and other leaders, adding that he was making efforts that opposition present joint and consensus ToRs in the apex court.
He said that honest leadership was necessary for corruption free Pakistan. He said that JI was the only party with clean track record.
